We are all urged to be our brothers keeper during this trying times of the Covid-19 Virus… We are also very thankful to the school administration for putting up a portal in place for all the students to access their coursework. We urge the students to ask their parents for their password to the online portal Questions and Quizzes will be added on a daily basis by the school ICT team who are working from home to help us all. The teachers will now be required to think of online teaching as a new way of life. God Bless Chavakali High

With the announcement by the President of Kenya regarding the outbreak of the Corona Virus the school has been closed indefinitely. All the boys were sent home on 18th March 2020 with great hope that the Corona Virus will be contained in Kenya. The principal urged all the students to stay away from crowded areas and always ensure hygiene during this very critical period when only 15 cases of the virus have been reported in Kenya with no deaths so far. We wish all our students, teachers and parents good health and long life.
KCSE is fast Approaching and we must be ready for any eventualities on how to regain our number one position if the country will sit for the National Examinations 2020 amid the scare of the corona virus. In 2019 we produced the best candidate in Western Province. We actually beat all the schools in Kakamega, Vihiga, Busia and Bungoma County. This is not an easy feat to achieve we therefore call upon our 2020 candidates to up their game amid this Corona Virus (Covid-19) . We will work hard to upload your assignments and even activate our online E-learning System as we pray God that this Virus will not touch any of our students, teachers and parents.
You are our class of 2021 time is quickly running out and we must buckle up to keep up with the changing times. Our E-Learning platfom will be activated during the course of this week to ensure that learning continues amid this Corona Virus outbreak. We wish all our students health of mind body during these very trying times.
Corona Virus has forced us to work from home. Form 2 is usually a very volatile class so we kinldy urge all our students not to relax at home because we did not go for holiday but the virus forced us all out of school. We therefore expect all the Form two students to always wake up early and study online. New content will be uploaded on this website on a daily basis as we grapple to improve our technology standards in E-Learning and Online Teaching. We especially encourage all parents to inform us when something is wrong even on this online learning platform using the Whats app groups created by your respective class teachers
Google Loon Balloons have been given authority by the President of the Republic of Kenya to fly their balloons in the Kenyan airspace to provide good internet coverage for all regions in order to aid in the learning process. While we are aware the Form One Parents have not been given their passwords yet, the ICT team is working overtime to ensure this is done so that they can also jump in and track their students online.
We do hope any of our students, teachers and parents will encourage us to work with this new online Learning Platform
